Borderlands - A Story-Driven First-Person Shooter with RPG Elements

Borderlands is an action-packed first-person shooter game developed by 2K, set on the dangerous planet of Pandora. The game follows the journey of four Vault Hunters who arrive on the planet to find the legendary Vault, where they are guided by a mysterious girl known only as Angel. As the game progresses, players are tasked with finding the first piece of the Vault Key.

This story-driven game has RPG elements that allow players to adjust their playstyle by finding different weapons, leveling up their character, and improving their skills and attributes. Cooperative in nature, up to four players can join together to take on the roles of four different characters: Brick the Berserker, Mordecai the Hunter, Lilith the Siren, and Roland the Soldier. Each character has their own unique abilities and weapon preferences, but players are free to choose any weapon they desire. With the more a specific weapon type is used, the more proficient players become. Borderlands also offers several story DLCs that either shift the tone of the main game or expand on the existing storyline and characters.
